Privacy Policy
LifeDrop helps friends send and receive digital postcards. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how SMS contact information is handled.
Who We Are
LifeDrop is operated by unstuck Mental Health Studios Inc. In this policy, "LifeDrop," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the LifeDrop service.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, profile handle, email address, phone number, password, LifeDrop codes, friend or recipient details, postcard content, photos, captions, comments, replies, links, and other content you choose to add to LifeDrop.
We also collect basic technical information needed to run and protect the service, such as request logs, device and browser information, IP address, authentication records, error logs, and approximate activity information such as when a postcard is created, opened, saved, or shared.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, create and deliver LifeDrop postcards, show profile and postcard pages, remember saved postcards and friends, send service notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.
If you use LifeDrop image or postcard-generation features, we may process your prompts, sketches, photos, captions, and postcard details to generate or improve the postcard image you requested.
SMS And Mobile Information
If you provide a mobile number to receive LifeDrop updates by text message, we use that number to send service-related SMS messages. These messages notify you when a friend drops a postcard for you on LifeDrop and include a link to view that postcard. Message frequency varies based on friend activity. Message and data rates may apply.
You consent to receive LifeDrop SMS messages when you submit your phone number through a LifeDrop website or app flow that explains the SMS program. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can request help by replying HELP.
We never sell or rent your mobile number. We also do not share your mobile number, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent with outside companies or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS consent is used only for the LifeDrop messaging program you opted into.
We may share mobile information with service providers only as needed to operate LifeDrop and deliver messages, such as messaging, hosting, security, and customer support providers. These providers may use the information only to provide services to LifeDrop and not for their own marketing.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with service providers that help operate LifeDrop, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, image generation, push notification, link preview, and messaging providers. These providers are allowed to process information only to provide services to LifeDrop.
How We Share Information
We share postcard pages, photos, captions, and related content with the people you choose to send or share a LifeDrop postcard with. If a postcard is shared through a link or code, anyone with that valid link or code may be able to view the shared postcard.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect LifeDrop and our users, to prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information for money or use mobile/SMS opt-in information for third-party advertising.
Your Choices
You can opt out of LifeDrop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You can request help by replying HELP. You can also stop using LifeDrop or request changes to account information through the app or website.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your LifeDrop account, subject to legal, security, and operational limits.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide LifeDrop, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some records may be retained in backups or logs for a limited period.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmitted through the LifeDrop website and app, managed hosting and database providers with access controls, and limited access to systems that process personal information. Some information may also be protected by the security features of the third-party providers we use to operate LifeDrop. No internet, cloud, or messaging service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
LifeDrop is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us through the LifeDrop website or app.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
